Floor and Wall Tiling for Homes, Offices and Shops Across Bangalore
Stylfixx lays floor and wall tiles for homes, offices and shops across Bangalore, from a single bathroom to a full 3BHK floor.
We work with vitrified, ceramic, porcelain and large-format 2x4 ft tiles, using polymer tile adhesive and levelling systems so floors stay flat and tiles stay bonded. You can buy the tiles yourself or have us source them.

Tile Laying Rates in Bangalore (2026)
These are typical 2026 Bangalore market rates; your exact price is fixed in a written quote after the free site visit. Indicative labour rates per sq ft, excluding the cost of tiles:
| Work | Labour only, with cement mortar (per sq ft) | Labour with polymer adhesive (per sq ft) |
|---|---|---|
| Floor tiles up to 2x2 ft (vitrified or ceramic) | ₹25 – ₹40 | ₹40 – ₹60 |
| Large-format 2x4 ft and above | ₹45 – ₹70 | ₹60 – ₹90 |
| Wall tiles (bathroom, kitchen dado) | ₹30 – ₹50 | ₹45 – ₹70 |
| Tile-over-tile (adhesive required) | Not suitable | ₹50 – ₹80 |
| Epoxy grouting (add-on) | ₹15 – ₹30 | ₹15 – ₹30 |
Removal of old tiles, floor levelling, skirting, nosing for steps and debris removal are quoted separately. A written quote lists each item so the total does not change after work starts.
Cement Mortar or Tile Adhesive?
Traditional cement mortar works for small ceramic tiles but bonds poorly to dense vitrified tiles, which is why they sometimes sound hollow or pop up after a few years.
Polymer tile adhesive (to IS 15477) grips vitrified and large-format tiles far better, needs a thinner bed and keeps floor height down. For anything larger than 2x2 ft, and for any tile-over-tile job, we use adhesive.
Our Tiling Process
Survey
We check the base for level, cracks, damp and hollow areas, and measure each room to plan the tile layout and reduce cutting waste.
Layout plan
Starting lines, cut positions and door thresholds are agreed with you before laying, so cut pieces end up at walls, not in the middle of the room.
Base preparation
Loose screed is repaired and the floor is levelled. In wet areas, waterproofing is completed and tested first.
Laying
Tiles are fixed with adhesive or mortar, back-buttered when large, with 2–3 mm spacers and levelling clips to prevent lippage.
Curing and grouting
Joints are cleaned and grouted after the adhesive sets, with epoxy grout in bathrooms and kitchens.
Cleaning and handover
Haze is removed, edges sealed, and you check every tile with us by tapping for hollowness.
Choosing the Right Tiles
Living and bedrooms
Double-charged or glazed vitrified tiles hold up well to daily wear.
Bathroom floors
Matt or anti-skid tiles; avoid high-gloss finishes in wet areas.
Bathroom and kitchen walls
Ceramic or glazed vitrified wall tiles that wipe clean.
Parking and driveways
Heavy-duty vitrified or parking tiles at least 12–15 mm thick.
Stairs
Matching step-and-riser tiles or nosing profiles for grip.
