uPVC windows and doors in Bangalore - Stylfixx

uPVC Windows and Doors for Apartments, Houses and Offices

Stylfixx supplies and installs uPVC windows and doors for apartments, independent houses and offices across Bangalore.

Most of our window work is replacement: swapping old wooden, steel or aluminium windows for uPVC frames that seal out dust, rain and road noise, usually without breaking the surrounding wall. Every window is made to measure from lead-free, UV-stabilised profiles.

uPVC vs Aluminium Windows

uPVC frames insulate better against heat and noise, do not corrode, and need almost no maintenance, which suits most Bangalore homes. Aluminium frames are slimmer and stronger, so they suit very large sliding doors and modern facades with wide spans. For bedrooms and living rooms facing busy roads, a casement or double-glazed uPVC window is usually the quieter choice.

Choosing the Right Window

Busy road or metro line nearby

Casement or double-glazed windows with good gaskets.

Small rooms and balconies

Sliding windows that do not swing into the room.

Mosquitoes

A sliding mesh track, or fixed mesh on casements.

Security on ground floors

Internal grills or laminated glass.

West-facing rooms

Double glazing or solar-control glass to cut heat.

Our Installation Process

1

Site measurement

Each opening is measured after checking it is square, because no two old openings are exactly alike.

2

Design and quote

You choose window types, glass, mesh and grills, and approve an itemised quote.

3

Fabrication

Windows are welded and assembled to size with galvanised steel reinforcement inside the profile, usually in 10–15 days.

4

Removal and fixing

Old frames are removed carefully, and new frames are fixed with mechanical anchors, with PU foam filling the gaps.

5

Sealing

Outside joints are sealed with weather-grade silicone, and drainage slots are checked so rain flows out of the sill.

6

Finishing and handover

Plaster and paint are touched up, sashes adjusted, and protective film removed.

uPVC Windows FAQs

In 2026, uPVC sliding windows with 5 mm glass usually cost ₹450 to ₹750 per sq ft installed in Bangalore, and casement windows ₹600 to ₹1,000 per sq ft. Double glazing adds about ₹150 to ₹350 per sq ft. Brand, size, mesh and grills change the final price.

uPVC is better for most homes because it insulates against heat and noise, does not corrode and needs little maintenance. Aluminium is slimmer and stronger, so it suits very large sliding doors and modern facades with wide spans.

Well-known profile brands in India include Fenesta, VEKA and Aparna Venster, among others. More important than the brand name is a lead-free, UV-stabilised profile, steel reinforcement inside the frame, good hardware and a careful installer.

Yes. Most uPVC sliding windows can be made with a third track that holds a sliding mosquito mesh shutter. Casement windows can have fixed or roller mesh on the inside.

Yes, for rooms facing busy roads, flyovers or metro lines. Double glazing with well-sealed casement frames cuts traffic noise noticeably and also reduces heat from the sun. For quiet streets, single glazing is usually enough.

Good-quality UV-stabilised uPVC windows commonly last 25 years or more in Indian conditions without rotting, rusting or needing paint. Gaskets and hardware may need adjustment or replacement over time.

In most homes, yes. The old frame is cut out carefully, the new uPVC frame is anchored into the existing opening, and only minor plaster and paint touch-up is needed around the edges.

Both are waterproof and do not rot. uPVC doors are lighter and cheaper, which suits most bathrooms. WPC doors are heavier and more rigid and can take more hardware, but cost more.

After measurement, fabrication takes about 10 to 15 days. Fitting usually takes 1 to 3 days for a typical flat, depending on the number of windows and whether old frames are being removed.

Wipe the frames with mild soap and water, keep the sliding tracks and drainage slots free of dust, and lightly lubricate the hardware once a year. Avoid harsh solvents, which can dull the frame surface.
